The newly restored 1880s country house at Hartlot Happening expresses the same craftsmanship and care guests find at the heart of HxH. Its original features are preserved and brought forward with a warm, inviting feel.

Each of the four bedrooms is thoughtfully appointed, layered simply, with new and vintage items sourced locally. The house sleeps up to ten, with two bathrooms that combine 19th century character with modern comfort, one with a clawfoot tub made for slowing down.

The kitchen honors the same handcraft practices that distinguish HXH: ceramic pendant lights, handbuilt and fired on-site, a custom steel range hood fabricated and finished by hand, handmade ceramic mugs on custom wood countertops. A large dining room with farm table for ten draws you in, a light-filled living room and nearby sunroom with a daybed offer plenty of space to settle in.

Two porches look out over native wildflower meadows, with string lights overhead outside for evenings and sunsets that don't disappoint — just steps from the venue, a space where the celebration keeps going.
