Venue Pricing & Options​

By the hour:

$300 per hour, a minimum of 3 hours, includes exclusive commercial kitchen use.

*Starting June 2024, hourly rentals are not available on Fridays or Saturdays

By the Day:

$3500

Rental period is from 10 AM to 11 PM and includes exclusive commercial kitchen use
 

By the Weekend:

$6000

Rental period is from Friday at 10 AM through Sunday at 1 PM

Includes exclusive commercial kitchen use 
 

Cleaning Fee: All bookings must make a $250 cleaning deposit, this is refundable if the Guest leaves Hartlot Happening clean upon the end of the Rental Period.

Details

  • Access to the following buildings and areas of Hartlot Happening, please refer to the Hartlot Happening Map which notes the below information:

    • The Venue is a restored 19th-century board-formed concrete barn giving it a unique and beautiful interior and exterior.

    • The Courtyard is available for guest use and suitable for ceremonies and outdoor dining and revelry. Lit with bistro lights and shade with sun sails, this is a great space for our firepit, lawn games, cocktails, dancing, and more.

    • The Lot is our lawn area and is suitable for ceremonies or private dining parties al fresco.

    • The Parking Lot is a stone parking lot available for your use and has a capacity of around 30 cars. The parking lot is lit with bistro lights.

    • The Kitchen is available for your exclusive use but please inform the Hartlot Happening representative of your Kitchen use plans.​ 

    • ​The Beanery is the largest building on the property and is not currently accessible to guests but makes for a great backdrop for photos.

    • She Rents Vintage & Unite Two Design operate out of 2 buildings on the property, these buildings are off-limit to Guests.

    • Dinner plates, flatware, and water goblets for up to 75 people are provided by She Rents Vintage. Choose from 3 styles of flatware and several styles of plates including modern and vintage options. 

  • Two on-site meetings to review your event timeline and details. Assistance in creating a floor plan. We will also arrange tables and chairs before the start of your Rental period.

  • 75 white chairs

  • Eight 8.5’ wood tables

  • 2 bathrooms (1 ADA accessible)

  • 3 Trash, 1 recycling, and 1 compost receptacle. We provide trash removal but ask that trash is bagged and placed in the receptacles.

  • 8' Outdoor Rustic Beam Table

  • A Hartlot Happening employee will be on-site for the duration of your rental period to assist with parking and emergencies.

  • 1 Firepit, 1 Corn hole & 1 Bocce set

  • Our Approved Catering Partners list: We have an excellent list of high-quality Caterers. We do this to ensure events run smoothly and that our Guests and property are provided with the best service and food.  

  • Outside Vendor Choice: Besides limits to our Catering Partners, we allow guests the freedom to choose their own vendors. 

  • 25% discount on rentals through She Rents Vintage, our exclusive vintage rentals partner.

  • On-Site Wedding Rehearsal: If you are a Daily Rental, Hartlot Happening will schedule your Rehearsal in order to accommodate other bookings the week of your event. Rehearsals will be given a 1-hour time slot.

 

Not Included in your rental fee

  • Service Staff are not included in your fee, Hartlot Happening is not responsible for bussing tables or trash, food or bar service.

  • Bar Service is not included. Hartlot Happening does not have a liquor license, you must work with a licensed Bartending service.

  • Event insurance is not included in your rental fee, guests are required to purchase event insurance.

  • Linens, napkins, and bar glassware are not included.

  • Ice is not included and is not available on-site. We recommend getting ice through your Caterer or Bartender service.

  • Clean-up of personal or rented items is not included.

How to Book an Event

  • Please email HartlotHappening@gmail.com to book your event or to set up a tour of our venue.

  • We require a non-refundable retainer fee equal to 50% of your Rental Fee, a $250 refundable cleaning fee along and our signed contract in order to book your event. 

  • The remaining 50% of your Rental Fee is due 2 months prior to your Event Date.

  • Payments can be made via check, cash, Venmo or credit card. Credit Cards will be charged an additional 3% service fee.

  • Cancellation Policy: All payments are non-refundable. The Guest may cancel the Agreement before any payment becomes due without further penalty.
