This is an in-person handbuilt pottery workshop at Hartlot Happening. On August 16, join good company in a warm and creative environment to enjoy making your own salt well and herb stripping bowl, as the seasons begin to shift towards autumn. You'll learn fundamental slab-building techniques and how to design in clay with botanical imprints, working with florals just harvested from Schoolhouse Farms in Borodino. The workshop is designed to be accessible to guests of all skill levels and experience. These simple but elegant pieces will bring function and beauty to your kitchen and table, for every season.
Registration is $120 per participant and includes all materials, tools, a seasonal lunch, and post-workshop glazing and firing.
